Daniel travels West every year and collects junipers, pines, larches, and other yamadari. After studying art at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, Daniel taught English in Japan and worked at Yoshoen bonsai nursey in Ikeda, Osaka Prefecture, Japan. Several years later, he returned to his native Pennsylvania where he has poured his time, effort, and vision into Bonsai Forge.
